The stately USS Mount Whitney, flagship of the U.S. Navy’s 6th fleet, is stationed in the Bay of Monaco during National Day celebrations, 19 November 2012.<\/p>\n

His Serene Highness Prince Albert had expressed an interest in the visit of a U.S. Navy ship in the 30th anniversary year of the passing of His mother, Princess Grace, to underscore the strong ties between the Principality and the United States.
