<p><span id="more-1340"></span>Miss Charlène Lynette Wittstock (32) is a South African national, who was born on 25 January 1978 in Zimbabwe. She is a former school teacher and Olympic swimmer. She has been living in Monaco since 2006.</p>
<p>“We are delighted to hear the wonderful news today. There is much to celebrate in the principality and I’m sure the people of Monaco are all looking forward to welcoming Miss Wittstock into their hearts, “ said Maguy Maccario, Consul General in New York.</p>
<p>“Because of Prince Albert’s American heritage and his days spent living, schooling and working here, his many friends here in New York, indeed across the United States, will celebrate and rejoice in this very special announcement with the people of Monaco.”</p>
