H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Ambassador Maccario Doyle, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s President Olivier Wenden and National Geographic’s Dr. Enric Sala, were fortunate to meet Dr. Jane Goodall one last time on September 23 during the Wall Street Journal’s UNGA event. Her presence was, as always, a reminder of compassion, courage, and our shared responsibility for the natural world. 

In 2008, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation awarded her its very first Prize for her outstanding commitment to the environment. JB Kelly, President of the Foundation’s US branch, represented the Sovereign at Dr. Goodall’s Celebration of Life on November 12 at the Washington National Cathedral.
