Yesterday, His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco sent a message of support to President Obama following the tragic events in Boston. Prince Albert has a special connection to the Boston area as he graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts in 1981………………….
Mr President,
With immense sadness I learned of the tragic explosions which happened on Monday at the Boston Marathon.
I wish to express my deepest sympathies and condolences, that of my Family and of the population of the Principality of Monaco, to the families of the victims, and to all those who were affected in any way. Our thoughts, prayers and compassion are with those who are injured.
Please be assured, Mr President, of our sense of profound solidarity in these awful circumstances.
