PinkWave Monaco all women sailing team is thrilled to participate in the 2023 all-women‘s Lady Liberty Regatta. Organized by the New York Harbor Sailing Foundation and hosted by Manhattan Yacht Club, the regatta brings together all-women teams from Australia, Canada, France, Iceland, Japan, Korea, Monaco, Sweden and the United States in a 3-day race in front of the Statue of Liberty to promote international goodwill through friendly competition.
PinkWave Monaco was founded in 2019 by five female members of the Monaco Yacht Club. Today, it consists of about 50 women, ages 24 to 76, ranging in level from beginner to expert, and from all different backgrounds and nationalities. The objective of PinkWave is to encourage women to get actively involved in what is traditionally a male-dominated sport.
