His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene have celebrated their religious wedding in the main courtyard of the Princely Palace, a day after they were married in an intimate civil ceremony. The bride wore an elegant off-the-shoulder silk beaded Armani gown with a breathtaking train and the groom was dressed in traditional summer white uniform of the carabinier. Guests included French president Nicolas Sarkozy and many other European royalty, heads of state and Government, as well as prominent international personalities, and VIPs.
Prince Albert’s best man was his cousin, Mr. Chris Le Vine, and Princess Charlene’s maid of honour was Mrs. Donatella Knecht de Massy.
An exquisite set of wedding jewellery called Océan by Van Cleef & Arpels was specially created for Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene. This pledge of love, offered by the Prince to his Princess, who chose its name, transforms into a stunning tiara.
